Live In Care

Why Live-in Care

Our services support you Live-In Care is for those who need 24-hour support but wish to stay at home rather than move into a residential home.

We provide a tailored service to suit the requirements of the individual receiving care and their family. It’s your life and your care, so it must be your way.

These services include, but are not limited to;

Having one or two dedicated carers makes it far easier for members of the family to feel included in a person’s care plan. It’s easy to stay up-to-date and in touch when you’re familiar with people providing care.

Not only does having someone stay throughout the night have safety benefits, but it also eases the minds of the people receiving care and their family members too. Meaning everyone can get a restful, and safe night’s sleep.

Care homes, though staffed with care professionals round-the-clock, simply can’t offer the same level of attention a dedicated, live-in care professional would be able to provide you or your loved one. And that’s simply because the staff at care homes must take responsibility for the well-being of multiple at any given time.

A person’s home is their own little time capsule, holding personal treasures and precious memories, which can make it very difficult to give up. But beyond the sentimentality attached to your own little patch of the world, the familiarity of home is good for a number of reasons.
Remaining in recognisable surroundings is a major benefit for people needing care – particularly if that person is suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia. Simple things like easily navigating your way through the home can make all the difference to someone who might be prone to becoming confused.

Benefits of our Live-in Care Plan

A live-in carer can make an incredible difference to your life. While many people assume they can only support with personal care, mobility problems, and administering medication, they can assist with so much more. While these physical aspects, which many people only associate with care, are very important, our live-in home carers can also aid you in all other areas of your daily routine.

People with more complex medical conditions also have the option to be supported at home. If your needs are greater, we have a team of nurse-supported clinical carers who are specially trained to meet complex requirements. Whether you need ventilated, tracheostomy or continence care, or require regular insulin injections and blood sugar monitoring, a clinical live-in carer can support you.

Assured Quality Care

Are there security checks for carers? – Private in-home care agencies complete Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for all carers. Further, at First Divine Care(FDC) Personnel, it is standard procedure to follow up with each carers’ references. This is done to ensure that references check out and to inquire about the quality of care delivered by a carer and whether it is up to the FDC standard – above par care that is delivered with compassion.
